If you have come across error “The rating model you selected for a box chart view isn’t valid because no rating categories are configured for it. (HRR-3225063)” dont worry, you have reached to the right place to get answer. This is probably the first time, you are trying to configure talent review dashboard.
How to resolve the issue?
To fix the issue, just identify the rating model that is causing the issue. In this case you can see from the screenshot that rating model name is Potential. This is not the actual rating model but just the display name. To get the actual rating model name, scroll up to the section “Ratings Options“. There you will find a rating model associated with that name. You can see in the screenshot below it is “Potential Rating Model”
Now will have to associate rating category with this rating model. To do the same, please navigate to My Client Group » Profile » Manage Profile Rating Model.
On this screen select “Potential Rating Model” and click on edit and then click on the Rating Categories section. Most likely you do not have any entry there. Now all you need to do is create rating category for this rating model.
What’s a rating category?
Rating category is a label for a group of rating levels. Rating categories are extensively used in performance management and talent reviews to group ratings for analysis, like performance vs. potential box chart. You can define categories such as low performer, medium performer and high performer to use in a performance-potential nine-box analytic.
Once you enter rating categories, go back to your Talent review dashboard and resume configuration.
