What is Prescreening Questionnaire?
When posting a job requisition, you aim to attract both internal and external candidates, seeking to receive a high number of applications for each position. As a recruiter, your ultimate goal is to identify and hire the best candidate as efficiently as possible. However, managing a large volume of candidates can pose challenges, making it necessary to implement a mechanism that helps filter out applicants who are not suitable for the role. Set of questions that help to eliminate (disqualify) candidates from a job application are called Disqualification Question. Additionally, to evaluate the remaining eligible candidates and identify the most qualified individuals, you utilize Prescreening Questions – also known as Job Application Questions. To configure these questions we utilize questionnaire functionality of oracle cloud application.
A Prescreening Questionnaire is a combination of two question sets:
Disqualification Questions:
These questions are designed to identify candidates who do not meet the basic requirements of the job, allowing you to exclude them from further consideration. For example, by utilizing these questions, you eliminate candidates who do not have legal rights to work in the courtly job is posted or they do not have minimum work experience.
Prescreening (Job Application) Questions:
These questions help assess the remaining candidates and identify the best possible fit for the position. By asking targeted questions related to the job requirements, skills, experience, and other relevant factors, you can evaluate applicants more effectively and make informed decisions.
It’s important to note that you have the flexibility to customize the question sets for internal and external candidates according to your specific needs. Furthermore, you can contextualize questionnaire by tailoring the questions based on following four factors ensuring a more comprehensive evaluation process.
- Recruiting Organizations
- Recruiting Locations
- Job Families
- Job Functions
