What is Prescreening Questionnaire?
When posting a job requisition, you aim to attract both internal and external candidates, seeking to receive a high number of applications for each position. As a recruiter, your ultimate goal is to identify and hire the best candidate as efficiently as possible. However, managing a large volume of candidates can pose challenges, making it necessary to implement a mechanism that helps filter out applicants who are not suitable for the role. Set of questions that help to eliminate (disqualify) candidates from a job application are called Disqualification Question. Additionally, to evaluate the remaining eligible candidates and identify the most qualified individuals, you utilize Prescreening Questions – also known as Job Application Questions. A Prescreening Questionnaire is a combination of two question sets:

These questions are designed to identify candidates who do not meet the basic requirements of the job, allowing you to exclude them from further consideration. For example, by utilizing these questions, you eliminate candidates who do not have legal rights to work in the courtly job is posted or they do not have minimum work experience.
