What is Oracle Nudge?
Nudge is another touchpoint functionality that we are going to explore in this article, however, if you are completely new to Touchpoint we recommend you to first go through this article » Everything You Wanted To Know About Oracle Cloud Touchpoints
An Oracle Touchpoint nudge is a reminder or task that is sent to employees or managers to help them stay on top of important events. For example, nudges can be sent to remind employees to add goals to their goal plan, request or provide feedback. Nudges can also be sent to celebrate employee accomplishments or to remind managers of upcoming deadlines.
There are several use cases for Nudge, which you will learn about as we progress through this article. However, for the sake of brevity, we will demonstrate how Nudge can be used to nudge employees and workers in the following business scenarios:
- Send a reminder/nudge to managers if the pulse survey submitted by an employee is below an organization-accepted value. This will help managers to get in touch with the employee and see if there is anything they can do to help improve the employee’s satisfaction.
- Create a nudge to remind employees if they have not yet added any goals to their goal plan even after 7 days. This will help employees to stay on track and make sure they are setting and achieving their goals.
- Create another nudge to allocate a survey to an employee whose probation is about to end within 7 days. This will help the employee to provide feedback on their experience so far and to get their manager’s input on their development plan.
