What is Job Application Flows
When a candidate applies for a job, they must provide a variety of information, including personal information, education, and experience. This information is typically organized into different sections and blocks on a job application form. A job application flow in oracle recruiting clouds help to organize this sequence and different block a candidate has to fill in.
An application flow is a sequence of pages that candidates complete when they apply for a job on an external career site. The flow can be customized to include different sections, such as:
- Personal information:Â This section typically includes the candidate’s name, address, email address, and phone number.
- Education:Â This section includes the candidate’s educational background, including degrees earned, schools attended, and dates of attendance.
- Experience:Â This section includes the candidate’s work experience, including job titles, companies, dates of employment, and responsibilities.
- Skills:Â This section includes the candidate’s skills and abilities, such as software proficiency, languages spoken, and certifications.
- Resume:Â This section allows the candidate to upload their resume.

This will create a bridge between Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Oracle Talent Profile Sections (Skills and Qualifications). During the recruiting process, when a candidate provides skills details, they must be retained and stored in the Oracle Cloud application so that employees can access them after selection. By selecting the appropriate content section, you are telling the application where to store this skills information in the Oracle Talent Profile. You can read this article to understand more about oracle talent profile » Learn Oracle Enhanced Talent Profile by Creating Custom Content Section
Click on Save button on the pop-up window. This will remove the red cross mark from Skills block.
