What are Journeys
If you have prior experience with checklists in the Oracle application, then journeys are not new to you. What was previously referred to as a checklist has now been rebranded as journeys, but with notable additional features and an enhanced user experience using the Redwood Pages.
A checklist is a group of tasks that need to be completed when an action occurs. For example, when you hire an employee (Hire action) there are lots of activities (tasks) employee has to perform during the onboarding process. Similarly, there would be completely different sets of tasks for offboarding process or transfer process. Oracle cloud application allows to manage these tasks using checklist template and there are different delivered checklist categories to support different types of actions such as onboarding, offboarding, transfer etc.
Journeys is a one-stop app which enables to use checklist of any category to guide workers when they experience a work related change such as transfer or promotion or person related change such as change in their marital status.
