Can we restrict assignee list while setting up Vacation rule in Oracle Apps?
We are developing one custom workflow and the notification we need to be managed by vacation rules. We need to restrict the list of value for assignee filed (based on some custom role) in the vacation rule setup. So that user or approver can redirect their notification to any user (belongs to this role only) in their absence.
As per workflow developer guide, oracle suggested to include one role type attribute “#WF_REASSIGN_LOV” in the custom workflow and assign the custom role as the value for the attribute.
Using this approach we are able to restrict the list of value for the assignee field in the reassign notification page. But in the vacation rule setup, it is showing all the employees in assignee list.
If anyone have any idea please share with us. Any kind of inputs is really appreciable.
